Two new publications on Islam-West Relations have been released. The firs book, Citizenship, Security and Democracy: Muslim Engagement with the West, is a selection of papers  from the conference held on September 1-3, 2006, organized b y the Association of Muslim Social Scientists (AMSS UK) and the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA). The second book, Muslims and the West: Encounter and Dialogue, published by Legacy International, is also a collection of 12 selected papers from the seminar held in Islamabad in October 1997 under the auspices of the International Islamic University, Islamabad and the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
