The International Institute of Islamic Thought operates The Fairfax Institute (TFI), which conducts and coordinates education programs in Islamic education and practice.

 Continuing Education: TFI offers continuing education by teaching short courses for students, academicians, lifelong learners, and concerned citizens, as well as professionals in government, policymaking, business, and information analysis. During the summer, the IIIT Summer Student Program offers intensive coursework and research experience to selected students in Herndon, VA. Courses are offered on-site, off-site and on-line or via distance learning.

Undergraduate Education: In conjunction with Institut International de la Pense Islamique, TFI offers License d’etudes islamique interdisciplinaire in Paris, France. Courses are taught in French and Arabic on-site and via distance learning.
